This is my Geocaching page to find out more about this outdoor electronic letterboxing game please visit: http://www.geocaching.com all you need is a good handheld GPS location finder and an account (the accounts are free or for a small yearly payment you can get all the benefits of a premium member). Its good fun and can while a way quite a few hours and if like me you enjoy walking you will learn some interesting facts even in your own local area.
I use the Garmin colorado 300 with UK's complete topological maps from 'mapsource'. There is so much on this device and is so good for Geocaching and it also supports Wherigo cartridges too.
I have two Travel Bugs called 'Frenzy & Kaos' Who were set off in a local geocache on the 1/1/09. They were competing against each other to see who can travel the furthest before arriving back home, however Frenzy has returned home but Kaos is still stuck out in Europe having a wonderful time. It would be great if Kaos could start working her way back to the UK if any Geocachers are out that way?
My car a dark Grey Vauxhall Astra Estate has a Trackable in the window so keep an eye out for that as well, Also I wear a Pin Badge with the Geocaching logo on it underneath this can also be found a log code, so even I can be logged also, lol. Happy Caching might bump into some more of you wonderful people soon.
Im up to 261 geocaches now and the date is 23/2/17! So I have hit the 250th marker! vnow onto the 500th for the next badge!
